Moscow, Jan 18: Eighteen people were hospitalised in southern Russia when a disgruntled man who got into a fight in a bar with the establishment's owner set off a grenade, a news agency reported today. The incident occurred late yesterday in the southern city of Yeisk in the Krasnodar region. The man got into a dispute with the bar's owner. He then left, only to return minutes later to toss a grenade into the room, the report said.
He was later detained by the police, the news agency said, adding that one woman remained in serious condition in hospital. It was not clear what sparked the dispute, with the agency only reporting that the man "became upset with the management".
