Chandigarh, Aug 11: Madhu Sharma, wife of IPS officer Ravi Kant Sharma, prime suspect in journalist Shivani Bhatnagar murder case, has sought an appointment with Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to discuss the case even as Sharma is likely to move Delhi High Court on Monday seeking bail. Madhu said that she wanted to apprise the Prime Minister about efforts heing made by "somebody" to frame her husband in the case.
She said she has sought the appointment through a functionary in the Prime Minister's Office. Madhu said she would like to apprise the Prime Minister about the entire case so that no injustice is done to her husband.

She said she had already faxed details of her defence in support of Sharma to the President, the Prime Minister, the Chief Justice of India and the National Human Rights Commission. "At the moment, I cannot give a copy of the fax as I am still holding consultation with my lawyers about the future course of action."
Sharma's family sources said they planned to file an appeal in the Delhi High Court tomorrow challenging the order of a local court rejecting the bail plea of Haryana IGP (Prisons). Bureau Report
