New Delhi, May 09: Congress today sought to disapprove of the demand made by senior party leader Vasant Sathe for declaration of Bharat as Hindustan in order to establish "Hindu Rashtra". "These are his personal views. We do not share his views at all. They are completely at variance with those of the Congress party", party spokesmans Jaipal Reddy told reporters. When repeatedly asked what action the party intended to take against Sathe, he merely said "we have taken note of your demand". Sathe had made the demand at a book release function last week at which Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the chief guest. Present at the function were RSS chief K S Sudershan and Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani. Bureau Report
