Dehradun, June 07: Union Human Resource Development Minister and senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi tonight said that the chapter on the BJP leadership issue is closed now. "This chapter is closed now," Joshi, on a day's visit here, told reporters when asked to comment on the BJP leadership issue.
The BJP leadership had already clarified the issue and there was no need to comment on this, he said.
In a new twist to the leadership controversy, Joshi yesterday had said the party had not taken any decision to project Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee as 'vikas purush' (man of development), limiting his appeal and it was only the personal view of BJP president Venkaiah Naidu.
