Ropar (Punjab), Sept 16: Punjab Vigilance Bureau today provided the copies of important documents attached with the challan to suspended Punjab Public Service Commission chairman Ravinder Pal Singh Sidhu and the other accused facing trial in the cash-for-job scam. The copies given to the tainted official and other accused pertained to the case on possession of assets disproportionate to known sources of income, registered by the bureau in recruitment scam.

The copies of the documents were provided in the court of Special Judge Amrik Singh Kathuria on the request of Sidhu's counsel.

The prosecution also handed the copies of these documents to other accused Dr Shamsher Singh, Paramjit Singh Panuni, Randhir Singh Dhira, Prem Sagar, G S Manchanda and Surinder Kaur Manchanda. Now the case would be come up for arguments on the issue of framing of charges on September 23.
