IBM India appoints Benz Infotech as Linux partner
Mumbai, June 23: IBM India has appointed Benz Infotech as its Linux services and solution partner, whereby the latter would help the information technology major to deliver end-to-end Linux Solutions to customers in India.
Mumbai, June 23: IBM India has appointed Benz Infotech as its Linux services and solution partner, whereby the latter would help the information technology major to deliver end-to-end Linux Solutions to customers in India.
"The Kochi-based company, Benz Infotech, will also offer services including technical consultancy and support, quality assurance and turnkey solutions to our customers," IBM Asean/South Asia business manager (Linux) Sandeep Menon said in a release here today.
Benz Infotech would also integrate Linux Solutions with IBM e-servers and storage solutions to reduce time-to-market of products and solutions, he said.
IBM would leverage on Benz Infotech's Linux competency to support other partners in grid computing, Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP), server and network security solutions among others, he added.
"Benz Infotech has developed certain solutions in Linux space and will provide services and solutions based on the software, while IBM India would offer the infrastructural support," Menon said.
