New Delhi, Dec 25: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was to leave for Jaipur this evening for a four-day sojourn in Rajasthan, has postponed his visit, PMO sources said.
The programme of Vajpayee, who turned 79 today, would be reviewed tomorrow, depending on weather condition, the sources said.
After his birthday celebrations, Vajpayee was scheduled to leave for Jaipur in the evening.
The Prime Minister's programme was rescheduled as his plane had to be diverted to Jaipur last night while returning to Delhi from Lucknow after a day-long visit. He travelled by road from Jaipur to reach the capital in the wee hours. Bureau Report
