Dehradun, Nov 15: Uttaranchal BJP has expelled nine party leaders for two years for indulging in anti-party activities during the state assembly elections in February, party sources today said. Among those who have been expelled include Uttaranchal BJP women wing general secretary Usha Negi, they said.
This was decided at the party's high level meeting held at Haldwani in Nainital district, they said.

A party spokesman today said all the nine leaders were involved in anti-party activities during the February 14 elections in Uttaranchal which saw BJP losing power to Congress.
Besides Negi, other expelled members are Naththi Singh Rautela, Dayal Singh, Prem Dutt Juyal, Suresh Chandra Sharma, Yashpal Singh, Ram Ratan Singh, Gajendra Singh Tomar and Prem Singh Bisht. Bureau Report
