Shanghai, June 27: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today said no decision has yet been taken on the question of deployment of Indian troops to Iraq.
At a press conference here, he was reminded that he had laid great emphasis on multipolarity and, at the same time, India was considering sending soldiers to Iraq.
The Prime Minister responded by saying that the issues were not connected and, in any case, no decision has yet been taken on the deployment of Indian troops.
A decision would be taken only after his return to India, Vajpayee said. Bureau Report
