Nagpur, June 15: In a candid admission, senior saffron leader K N Govindacharya today said he had proposed to BJP colleague Uma Bharati here. "Yes, I had proposed to Uma Bharti when some colleagues in the RSS also favoured such a relationship," Govindacharya told reporters here. He, however, declined to answer a question whether he has any regrets on the relationship not materialising. To a query, he admitted that he was no longer a ‘pracharak’ but would continue to be a ‘swayamsewak’ of RSS, the former BJP ideologue said. Bureau Report
