Awards are an inspiration to work harder: Amaal Mallik

Mumbai: Music composer Amaal Mallik considers awards as big motivation to better your work.
The "Sooraj Dooba Hai" hitmaker recently bagged IIFA Award for best music for the Ranbir Kapoor starrer "Roy".
"It feels awesome to receive so much love from fans. Winning an award on my parents anniversary couldn't be better. (After) years of waiting, I've managed to pickup the Sony Guild, Star Screen, Mirchi music, GIMA, Filmfare and now the IIFA Awards, all in a year," Amaal said in a statement.
"(It) feels great, it wouldn't be possible without the support of fans and parents. It is great inspiration to work harder," he added.
Amaal, who made his debut with Salman Khan's "Jai Ho", is currently working on "Force 2".
