New Delhi, July 05: A CII delegation led by its telecom council chairman Kishor Chaukar would visit Israel from 5-10 July to scout for strategic partners in developing new initiatives for the Indian telecom industry.
The mission would identify the areas of mutual cooperation and technology transfer and would hold meetings with Israeli venture capitalists to study the possibility of rural telephony, a CII release said.
It would explore avenues for cooperation with Israeli telecom companies and provide opportunity for the Indian companies to explore Israeli market for products and services.
The delegation is also scheduled to meet Israeli vice prime minister Ehud Olmert.
