Washington, June 08: Claiming that Iran continued to pose a "problem," US Secretary of State Colin Powell has urged the Iranian populace to press their leaders to relinquish terror and give up nuclear weapons. "Iran is a problem. It continues to support terrorism, and developing, we believe, the capability to produce nuclear weapons," Powell said on Fox News today.
That, he said, is troublesome. At the same time he pointed out that Iran is a very young population, "those who realize that their political and religious leaders are not pointing in the right direction to the future."

He hoped that the Iranians would realize that a better life awaits them if they abandon terrorism and development of Weapons of Mass Destruction and start changing the policies of the past, adding that he hoped that Iran's political and religious leaders will respond to this kind of pressure.
