Forty-seven days after the Godhra train arson, violence continued to rock this city with ten people injured in renewed incidents on Monday. With three deaths reported overnight here, the toll in Gujarat violence reached 779 despite the presence of the Army and Rapid Action Force. Some small houses were set on fire in the Madhopura police station area forcing the police to open fire at the rioting mobs, seriously injuring one of them. Rival groups pelted stones at each other in the Dilli Chakla area injuring nine people. Intensive combing was launched by the security forces to nab the miscreants.
