New Delhi, Mar 29: Hudco's fixed deposit has been given the highest safety 'Taaa (Ind) (So)' rating by credit rating agency Fitch. The rating signifies the highest credit quality and high capacity for timely payment for financial commitments, a statement from Housing and Urban Development Corporation (Hudco) said here today. During this year, Hudco had collected over Rs 800 crore as fresh deposits and growth in deposits was over 100 per cent as compared to deposits mobilised during 2001-02, it said. Hudco offered interest rate of 6.75-7.50 per cent on its fixed deposits, the release added. Bureau Report
