Musharraf sings Kashmir tune at press conference

Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf on Friday night said though he returned from the Agra summit empty handed he had nearly six hours of one-to-one talks with Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee 90 per cent of which was focussed on Kashmir.
Addressing a crowded press conference here, the first
after his return home on Tuesday after the Indo-Pak summit,
Musharraf said, "I returned empty handed but I am not
disappointed."
Musharraf said he was not disappointed as there was tremendous goodwill and understanding generated and resolve to carry forward the process that was ought to be most encouraging. "It was a good beginning and Inshaallah (God willing) the process will continue," he said.
He said, "It was a pity that twice mututally agreed draft could not be inked by him and Vajpayee." "However, I do understand that it is not a time for recrimination or throwing blame at each other," Musharraf said.
He said, "The summit was a historic oppportunity for both him and Vajpayee to create history." Bureau Report
