Ranchi, Sept 19: Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal
Marandi's brother Nunulal and a senior state government
official today filed FIRs against each other with the Giridih
police following an 'altercation' between them, the police
said today.
''Both of them today lodged fir. While the FIR against Roshan Lal Sharma, an executive engineer in the building construction department, was non-bailable, Nunulal's is bailable'', Giridih Superintendent of Police Sanjay Lethekar told a news agency on phone. In his complaint filed in a Giridih court yesterday, the executive engineer had accused Nunulal of beating him near the court premises for allegedly not complying with his order to visit his residence.
Nunulal, in his fir filed with the Giridih town police station, charged Sharma with concocting the beat-up story in an attempt to distract people's attention from his 'misdeeds'.

Alleging that he had visited Sharma after receiving
complaints of irregular payment of wages and sub-standard
work, Nunulal said, ''Sharma kicked up the scuffle when I asked
him about the complaints on sub-standard quality of work and
non-payment of wages to workers''.
Meanwhile, Sharma threatened to resign from his post if
action against Nunulal was not taken immediately.
