Jammu, Feb 21: The Border Security Force troops today foiled an exfiltration bid and arrested seven Bangladeshi nationals near Indo-Pak border in Samba border belt of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said. A group of seven Bangladeshis were trying to cross over to Pakistan along International Border (IB) in Chilyari border outpost (BOP) in Samba belt of Jammu district around 5:00 am, they told reporters here. Observing the movement of the exfiltrating group, alert BSF guards challenged them, sources said, adding they tried to escape but were later overpowered near zeroline. During the preliminary inquiry, Bangladeshis revealed that they had crossed into India from Indo-Bangla border and reached here via Delhi in a train, sources said. Nothing incriminating was found from the exfiltrators, who will be later handed over to police for their repatriation back to Kolkata, they added. Bureau Report
