Mumbai, July 19: Actor Vivek Oberoi, admitted to Hinduja Hospital for a fracture in the left leg, is showing steady progress and is on the path to recovery, according to hospital sources. "Vivek is much better now and the pain has decreased by 80 per cent," Dr Sanjay Agarwala, the orthopaedic surgeon, who operated on the actor's fractured foot told.
"He is recovering and all his aches and pains are slowly disappearing", he said.
"We are streamlining his visitors and except for close family members, others are not being permitted to meet the actor," he said.
"He has also begun moving his legs now and we expect him to be able to walk on crutches in the next couple of days," the surgeon added.
"We have cut down on the painkillers and sedatives and right now he is on simple crocin," he added.
Vivek had suffered multiple fractures in his left leg after a motorcyle rammed into him on a bridge in Kolkatta during the shooting of a scene for a film directed by Mani Ratnam on Thursday. Bureau Report
