Bangalore, June 17: Malaysia-headquartered leading network marketing company, Creative Network International (CNI) is planning to have 25,000 distributors in India by the end of the current year, a senior company official said. The company also intends to make India its manufacturing hub for export to Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Singapore depending on the volumes, Dr Subra Sahadevan, Senior Manager, Operations, CNI Enterprise (India) Pvt Ltd, said.

Currently, eight to nine products are made under contract manufacturing in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu for the local market with the raw materials mostly sourced locally.
CNI has about one million distributors in Indonesia and about 2.5 lakh in Malaysia and it plans to expand to China, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Middle-East and Africa, he said.
CNI was approved by the Foreign Investment Promotion Board in August last year, Sahadevan said. Bureau Report
