New Delhi: Bollywood veteran Salim Khan has once again stepped forward in the support of his son Salman Khan. This time, he is backing the 50-year-old superstar on a statement which Salman recently made on the controversial Pakistani artistes debate.
Taking a dig at a popular news channel, Salim slammed the people who were attacking Salman, filmmaker Karan Johar and director Mahesh Bhatt for supporting Pak stars. In a series of sarcastic tweets, Salim proved his point.
Earlier, the Bhaijaan of B-Town questioned the campaign against Pakistani actors working in India, saying they were not terrorists.
Pakistani actors like Fawad Khan, who have worked in India, are being widely condemned in the country for keeping their comments reserved in slamming the attack on Indian soldiers.
The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena was the first to ask Pak artistes to leave India.
Later, the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association decided to ban Pakistani artistes from working in Indian movies.
