Petrol, diesel prices to go up
Petrol and diesel prices throughout the country will go up by 17-19 paise and 11-12 paise per litre respectively from midnight Friday, following revision in dealers` commission.

Domestic LPG prices will also go up by Rs 1-1.05 per cylinder with the increase in dealers commission, effective from midnight of November 9, an official release said.
With 13.5 paise per litre increase in dealers' commission to 61.3 paise per litre, petrol in Delhi would now cost Rs 28.94 per litre while diesel, on which dealers' commission has gone up by 8.8 paise to 36.5 paise per litre, would cost Rs 17.18 per litre.
Domestic LPG cyclinder, on which distributors commission has been increased by Rs 1.02 per cylinder to Rs 15.55 per cylinder, would cost Rs 223.30 per cylinder in Delhi.
Prior to the hike in dealers commission, petrol in Delhi was priced Rs 28.75 per litre and diesel costed Rs 17.06 per litre. A cylinder of dometic LPG fetched Rs 222.25.
Petrol in Mumbai would now cost Rs 31.90 per litre, Rs 30.67 per litre in Chennai and Rs 29.21 per litre in Kolkata. Similarly, diesel would now cost Rs 20.79 per litre in Mumbai, Rs 18.65 in Chennai and Rs 17.54 in Kolkata.
Domestic LPG would be priced at Rs 226.70 per cylinder in Mumbai, Rs 229.70 per cylinder in Chennai and Rs 246.65 per cylinder in Kolkata.
