London, Apr 05: The last British Airways Concorde began the long journey to its final resting place on Sunday (April 04). Not quite supersonic speed, but it's still a Concorde and it's on the move. This is the last journey for this British Airways Concorde from London to its final resting place in Scotland. The sleek plane is being towed without wings or its distinctive nose to a barge in the River Thames.
From there, the plane will float through the British capital before travelling along the east coast of England and ending up in Scotland.
It will spend its retirement as a showpiece in the Museum of Flight near Edinburgh.
