New Delhi, Feb 27: MTNL today announced that its post-paid subscribers would not have to pay any charge for incoming calls from any network -- fixed line, wireless in local loop or cellular. This would be applicable for MTNL cellular subscribers in Delhi and Mumbai with effect from March 1, 2003, Narinder Sharma, chairman and managing director, MTNL told reporters today.
Customers will not be charged anything extra for this facility, he said.
MTNL has also decided to reduce rental in two plans -- plan C and plan D from Rs 700 and Rs 1900 to Rs 650 and Rs 1200 respectively. In addition, the telecom operators now will be charging on a 60-second pulse instead of the present outgoing charges levied at 30 seconds pulse.
