Militants trigger landmine blast in Doda
Doda, Oct 08: A CRPF jawan was killed and five injured as ultras triggered a landmine blast in Doda town soon after the commencement of polling for the fourth and final phase of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections this morning, a senior official said.

He said militants who had planted an improvised
explosive device near the polling station detonated it and
opened fire on the polling station at 0720 hours in the town
hall area of the city, Deputy Commissioner Basharat Ahmad Dar told a news agency.
Security forces retaliated and in the ensuing gunfight one ultra was killed, Dar said adding two CRPF jawans were also seriously injured.
Two militants have been spotted and entire area has been
cordoned off, Dar said.
