Jaipur, Feb 13: Four Bangladeshi nationals, a couple and their two children, were arrested at the Immigration Check Point at the Sanganer Airport here, police said today.
The Bangladeshi nationals were arrested yesterday while returning to Delhi after having undertaken a pilgrimage to Khwaja Moinudding Chishti's Dargah in Ajmer, as immigration officials found that their visas were not genuine, police said.
After interrogations, it was found that the original visa had expired, following which the Bangladeshi nationals put a forged seal on it.
The matter was reported by the immigration officials to the Sanganer police station, following which 45-year-old Qadir and his 40--year-old wife Sharifa were arrested along with their two children aged five and seven years.
While Qadir has been taken to police remand for six days, his wife and the children have been sent to judicial custody by a local court, police added.
