Wimpy employees remanded to PC till June 18
Kharar (Punjab), June 15: A local court today remanded five employees of Wimpy International Limited, an international fast food company, arrested in connection with a corruption case, to police custody till June 18.

Magistrate Harinder Sidhu directed the police to produce the five - WIL's manager (F&B) Yash Pal Dhawan, director finance-cum-advisor/controller R K Gupta, senior accounts officer Sanjeev Kulshreshta and drivers Harjinder Singh and Devinder Singh - before the court again on Wednesday.
The fast food company is owned by London-based Kanwal Singh Sidhu, reportedly a close associate of former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.
The five were arrested from Delhi on Thursday in connection with a case of corruption and disproportionate assets against Badal's former officer on special duty, Hardeep Singh, registered on August 29 last year.
