New Delhi, June 20: Nationalist Congress Party today said it will go it alone in all the 90 seats in Chhattisgarh in the coming assembly elections in the state. "We plan to contest all the seats on our own," NCP State Unit President V C Shukla said at a press conference here. He, however, said that there could be some last minute "minor adjustments with like-minded parties".
Asked as to which parties NCP would prefer for such an understanding, Shukla said "certainly not congress and BJP" and added that the parties might include some Left Parties. Stating that people had lost their faith in the Ajit Jogi government, he expressed confidence that NCP would wrest power from the ruling Congress in the state.
