Jodhpur, Oct 23: A court of inquiry has been set up to probe into the crash of an Indian air force MIG-21 aircraft which crashed about six kilometres from Utarlai air base in Barmer district, official sources said today. The cause of the crash, which occurred in Bhagoan ki Dani near Laldyon village on Monday, had initially been attributed to a technical snag by authorities.
The MIG, on a regular training flight, crashed while attempting to land at Uttarlai air strip in high velocity wind conditions, but the pilot bailed out safely. Bureau Report
