Bangalore, July 24: After Noor Fatima, another Pakistani child, eight-year-old Junaid Khalid, arrived here with his parents today for treatment of a heart problem at a cardiac speciality hospital on the city outskirts. "The child was admitted to the semi-special ward in the hospital this afternoon," sources at Narayana Hrudayalaya, where Noor is now recuperating from an open heart surgery, told news agency.

"Preliminary tests are being conducted and on the basis of these, paediatric cardiac surgeon Dr Rajesh Sharma will decide on the surgery to be done," the sources said.

Junaid, who arrived at Delhi on the Lahore-Delhi bus yesterday, is the second Pakistani child to receive treatment in India after the resumption of bus service between the two countries.
Two-and-a-half year old Noor, who came on the inaugural trip from Lahore and underwent open heart surgery at the hospital, is recovering well.

Junaid is also being treated by Dr Sharma, who led the team that performed the operation on Noor Fatima on July 15.
