Jammu, June 29: Banned militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) is believed to be behind yesterday's Sunjivan military station attack as indicated by Markaz-e-Dowaza markings on AK rifle and some documents seized from the site, police sources said today. Quoting intelligence inputs and markings on rifle and documents, the attack, in which 12 soldiers were killed, points towards LeT, who is the main outfit operating in Rayaka-Bhatandi-Sunjivan forest belt since last two years, the sources told here.
“We had already warned army about the possible attack in this area,” the sources said adding two militants killed after Rajiv Nagar carnage, 500 meters away from Sunjivan camp, belonged to LeT.
