Railways to recruit 20,000 Group D employees
Ajmer, June 03: In an effort to make rail journey safer, railways will recruit 20,000 Group D employees this year, Minister of State for Railways Bandaru Dattatreya said here today.
Ajmer, June 03: In an effort to make rail journey safer, railways will recruit 20,000 Group D employees this year, Minister of State for Railways Bandaru Dattatreya said here today.
The additional manpower will be mainly utilised for
manning railway tracks, gates and signals, Dattatreya told
reporters.
All efforts were being made to make rail journey completely safe, he added.
Referring to the proposed 32 kilometer rail route between Ajmer and Pushkar, Dattatreya said progress of the project was satisfactory as necessary land for laying track up to Budha Pushkar had already been acquired.
He visited Pushkar and Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti during his day long visit here. Bureau Report
