Sattahip, Sept 17: Sri Lanka's peace negotiators have agreed dates for their next three rounds of talks, a top government negotiator said here on Tuesday.


The Sri Lankan government and the rebel Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) agreed to hold the second round in late October and two more sets of meetings before January, negotiator GL Peiris said. He said the exact dates would be announced at a press conference here on Wednesday, concluding three days of groundbreaking talks which were brokered by Norway and are being hosted by the Thai government at a naval base here.

The new rounds of talks will also be held in Thailand. Bureau Report
