Karisma Kapoor`s estranged husband Sunjay Kapur files application for custody of kids

Karisma and Sunjay`s petition for divorce on the grounds of mutual consent was disposed, after the two withdrew their consent.

Mumbai: Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur’s marriage doesn’t seem to work despite repeated attempts being made by the two.

Not too long ago, the couple's petition for divorce on the grounds of mutual consent was disposed, after the two withdrew their consent. And now, according to a report in Mid-Day, Sanjay has filed an application for the custody of their kids – Samaaira and Kiaan Raj.

The two children are now staying with their mother Karisma. According to Sunjay’s advocate, he had filed the same application before seeing custody of his children when he and his estranged wife had filed for divorce petition.

However, Karisma’s lawyer said she hasn’t received any fresh documents of application from the family court.

Karisma married Sunjay on 29 September 2003 in a Sikh styled gala wedding ceremony, an event attended by the who’s who of the film industry.
