Samajwadi Party President Mulayam Singh Yadav on Friday blamed congress for paving the way for installation of the Mayawati government in Uttar Pradesh and predicted its early fall. Mayawati would not have been able to form government in Uttar Pradesh had Congress acted properly, Yadav told reporters at the airport.
Congress would face the people's wrath for its role in Uttar Pradesh, he said.
Yadav predicted an early collapse of the Mayawati-led ministry saying such experiment in the past had proved highly unsuccessful.
To a question he hailed the Supreme Court's direction to the election commission to ask candidates contesting parliamentary or assembly polls to mandatorily furnish details of their criminal antecedents, if any.
