Lucknow, Sept 23: The CBI will today give a copy of its report on Rs 175 crore Taj heritage corridor project to the Uttar Pradesh government which will then order departmental inquiry against senior officials accused of irregularities.
"The summary report of the CBI probe into the Taj corridor project is expected to be submitted to the state government by tomorrow evening", an official spokesman here said yesterday.
The state government had written a letter to CBI to hand over a copy of its report on the project submitted in the Supreme Court.
The apex court, on whose directive the investigating agency is probing the case, had asked CBI to submit a self-contained report to the state government which should then act accordingly.
Chief Secretary of the state Akhand Pratap Singh had said an inquiry officer would be appointed after CBI submits its report.

The court has asked the state government to initiate departmental inquiry against concerned officials.
