15 people, including 5 HUJI ultras, killed in Kashmir
Jammu, June 29: Fifteen people, including an Army major and five ultras of Jarkat-ul Jehadi-Islami (HUJI), were killed and four HUJI ultras arrested in separate incidents in Jammu and Kashmir since last night, official sources said today.

Two Harkat-e-Jehadi Islami (HUJI) militants were killed in an encounter with security forces at Khuri Batpora in south Kashmir's Anantnag district today, they said adding two AK rifles and two magazines were recovered from their possession.
Two more ultras of the banned outfit were killed by security forces in Thanamandi area of Rajouri district of Jammu. Recoveries from the slain militants included two AK rifles, a Pika gun, 320 rounds, 14 magazines, 16 grenades, one UBGL and some documents a security personnel was killed and two were injured in the gunbattle, he added.
Another top HUJI militant was shot dead by security forces in Surankote area of Poonch district last evening. The slain militant was identified as Shahid Bhatti of Pakistan, was area commander of the outfit in Surankote area.
J&K Police also arrested four top militants of the outfit, including its supreme commander and two other commanders, from a truck on Jammu- Pathankote National Highway at Basholi Morh, 95 km from here today, according to top police sources.
