New Delhi, Apr 10: A day after CBI told a Delhi court that it had seized "judicial files" during raids carried out on DDA scam accused, Dharambir Khattar, his counsel today prayed the court to direct the agency to produce the files before it. Stating that media reports had said about the recovery of "judicial files" during raids on the accused, Khattar's counsel prayed Additional Sessions Judge Prem Kumar that CBI be directed to produce all records seized by it in the court. CBI was manipulating the investigation, he alleged adding it may even try to alter the records. He also requested the court to direct the agency to supply him with a copy of the seizure memo. Similar views were voiced by the counsel for accused Anand Mohan Sharan, who even cited the suit number of the files allegedly recovered by the agency.

Meanwhile the court directed that Khattar, who is admitted to a private hospital here, be shifted to AIIMS.
The court had yesterday directed AIIMS Medical Superintendent to study Khattar's medial reports and submit a reply today. Perusing the reply, which said that Khattar needed to be evaluated and investigated after work at AIIMS, the ASJ ordered that Khattar be "shifted immediately" there "in an ambulance with a doctor and a nurse."
It directed the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate to depute a Magistrate "to extend the judicial custody of accused for an appropriate period."

The court also remanded sacked DDA vice chairman Subhash Sharma, Commissioner (land disposal) and Ajay Khanna of DLF Universal Ltd to judicial custody till April 24. Bureau Report
