Hyderabad, Nov 13: Clearing the decks for the dissolution of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, the Telugu Desam politburo, the highest policy making body of the ruling party, today recommended the government to seek fresh mandate to "silence the congress and the naxalites hampering development in the state". The resolution adopted by the politburo, presided over by party supremo and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, would be placed before the 'Sarva Prathinidhi Sabha' (extended general body) of the party later in the day for final ratification, empowering the state government to seek a mandate early next year, politburo sources here said.
