West Indies, July 01: Brian Lara has reclaimed top spot in the PwC Test Ratings after his outstanding batting in the recent series against Sri Lanka.
The West Indies captain scored a double century in the first Test against the Sri Lankans before hitting the winning runs against them in the second.
He takes over the number one ranking from Australia's Matthew Hayden.
The only significant movement in the bowlers' ratings is the first appearance of West Indies paceman Corey Collymore in the top 30 Test bowlers.
Collymore recorded the best figures by a West Indian bowler for eight years when he took 7-57 in the second Test against Sri Lanka.
