Jerusalem, July 04: Iran has successfully tested a long-range missile, the shihab-3, which can reach Israel, a newspaper reported today. The Haaretz daily said the test was conducted last week, and was the most successful of seven or eight launches of the past five years. The newspaper said the shihab-3 has a range of more than 1,300 kilometers.
Israel's Army Chief, Lt. Gen. Moshe Yaalon, will discuss the threat posed by Iran when he meets with US defence officials next week, Haaretz said.
