Lucknow, July 01: The Pratapgarh district administration today attached 150 hectares of land owned by jailed independent MLA Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiyya in connection with a case under the Gangsters Act, a Home department spokesman said here. The tehsildar, Kunda has been appointed as administrator of the legislator's attached property in Bhadri, Jamethi and Sarai Kerat villages of Uttar Pradesh's Pratapgarh district, the spokesman said.
Raja Bhaiyya, who represents Kunda and who had led a revolt in the BJP last year over ministry expansion in the Mayawati-led BSP-BJP government, is also facing charges under Pota.
