India on Monday regretted that it was yet to see any reduction in violence, shelling or infiltration from across the border following Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf's speech on January 12, in which he announced his anti-terrorism agenda. ''We still do not see a discernible trend in reduction of violence, infiltration or shelling,'' an external affairs ministry spokesperson said.
She said ''we have to see what long-term trends in this regard would be''.
On the killings of eleven people, including women and children in Jammu and Kashmir today, the spokesperson said violence had to be condemned strongly.
