Bhopal, May 28: The Nine Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) MLAs from Uttar Pradesh, who were put up in a city hotel amidst threat of poaching, left for an undisclosed destination today.
The MLAs were brought here on Monday night to prevent
their being lured away by supporters of UP Chief Minister
Mayawati, RLD sources said.
Hotel sources said they might have left for Pachmarhi this evening in a bus. There was no mobile facility available in the hill station, about 200 kms from here.
Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Arun Pratap Singh told that they had not asked for any security from the police and he therefore did not know where they had gone.
Asked if they had gone to Pachmarhi, Singh said “I can not say anything about it.”
