Mumbai, Nov 12: Maharashtra deputy chief minister Chhagan Bhujbal is on four-day visit to Italy to promote Maharashtra as a premier tourist destination, official sources said here today. Bhujbal, who also holds tourism portfolio and is visiting Italy along with a high powered team, yesterday invited people of Milan to visit Maharashtra, "the land full of surprises,” the sources said.

Giving a preview into the tourist destinations in the state, Bhujbal said that Maharashtra has three world heritage sites--Ajanta, Ellora and Elephanta Caves and also dwelled on the financial capital of the country, Mumbai, sources added.
