New Delhi, Aug 12: Thirteen-year old Pakistani boy Munir is all set to leave for home today morning with both Indian government and the Pakistan high commission completing formalities for his departure.

A Pakistan high commission official visited Rajasthan House, where Munir was staying, to issue him a temporary passport.

Later, an external affairs ministry official met him to give him an exit permit. He will leave tomorrow morning by a DTC bus bound for Lahore where his father sells kulfi.
Munir, who strayed into Indian territory in June, said he was taking a lot of memories gathered during his stay in India to share with his natives in Vatu village in Pakistan.
"I will tell my friends what is Hindustan, its people and their love for me," Munir told reporters at the Rajasthan House.

He said that he was eager to meet his mother and other family members as soon as possible.

"After seeing me again, Amma will definitely be very happy," he said.

Munir, who never ever had heard about Delhi, however, said he would not like to come back again to visit India, not even with parents.

"Ministry officials are likely to hand over all necessary documents to Munir tomorrow morning," Rajasthan Police Sub Inspector Subhash Punia said.

Munir, who looked unwell, underwent a series of medical tests conducted by the Rajasthan House physician.

"He was a bit tired after the long journey from Bikaner yesterday. He is comfortable now and can undertake the journey to Lahore," Dr Ramesh Khandelwal said.
