Four of the men were arrested in the Muslim holy city of Mecca and the other two in Abha, the capital of Assir province, bordering Yemen, said the newspaper quoting security sources.
Security forces have also conducted new raids on several hideouts near Mecca used by militants to store arms, the daily said without revealing if weapons were seized. The arrests were made early Tuesday when police stopped a car carrying three passengers on the Mecca-Jeddah road in the west of the kingdom. Maps of several government installations were seized, the newspaper said.
