New Delhi, Oct 07: Soft drink concentrate maker, Rasna Pvt Ltd, on Tuesday forayed into the domestic milk additives market and said it would also launch soft drink beverage products early next year. Chairman and Managing Director of Rasna Piruz Khambatta said the new 'Rasna Shake Up', a pre-sweetened milkshake mix powder, has been launched after an nationwide survey on the milk drinking habits of children.
"We expect this product alone to add Rs 100 crore to our total turnover by selling 40 crore satchets in the next one year," Khambatta said adding the company, at present, has a turnover of Rs 225 crore, of which Rs 50 crore comes from exports.
To promote the new product, the company would start a nationwide multimedia and school campaigns besides ensuring its availability in its over 1.1 million outlets. Bureau Report
