Bhopal, July 26: Opposition BJP members today staged a walkout in Madhya Pradesh assembly demanding home minister Mahendra Boudh's resignation for failure to apprehend killers of party leader Vishnu Mangal, who was shot dead in broad daylight in Gwalior on Wednesday.
The matter was raised through a calling attention motion by BJP's Narendra Singh Tomar.
Deputy Speaker Ishwar Das Rohani adjourned the house for 10 minutes after BJP members shouted slogans to protest Boudh's remark that he was looking into some facts related to the incident.
When the house re-assembled, leader of opposition Gauri Shanker Shejwar and other BJP members demanded that if the authorities failed to nab Mangal's killers in next 48 hours, entire staff of the police station under whose area the incident took place be suspended.

Boudh said action would be taken against the police if they failed to apprehend the killers but ruled out the possibililty of suspending the entire staff of the concerned police station.
He said as per preliminary investigations, Mangal's killing was the result of a feud over land and added it had been confirmed that three persons were involved in the murder.
Not satisfied with the minister's reply, BJP members trooped out of the house, demanding his resignation.
