Patna, July 12: Five Peoples War Group (PWG) ultras and a policeman were killed in an encounter at Maranpur village in Bhojpur district of Bihar on Wednesday. State Director General of Police R R Prasad told a news agency here today that two policemen were also injured in the encounter, which took place when the extremists, who were challenged by police, opened fire. He said some uncreminating documents and literature related to the outfit were seized from the spot. A huge cache of arms were also seized. The DGP said massive combing operation under Inspector General of Police (operation) Neelmani was on. Senior police officers were camping in the village.
